I'm starting to see more and more answers with numbers in them - the most common being temperature, but the argument can be extended to volume and weight. I'm surprised it hasn't been asked before, with the internet being an international community, but should we be taking measures to standardize the units and measurements on the site, and if so what?

A good example of what I'm talking about is http://cooking.stackexchange.com/questions/584/how-do-you-decide-what-temperature-to-bake-atHow do you decide what temperature to bake at?. Some answers have both °F and °C, while some have only one or the other. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's grown up with one unit and can't quite wrap their head around the other.

Standardized Units?
